DRUG OFFENSES

Possession, Delivery, Possession with Intent to Deliver Controlled Substances. Thorough review of evidence, including police reports, body camera footage, 911 recordings to litigate illegal search and seizure. Expert knowledge of treatment options.


ASSAULT AND HOMICIDE

Assault and homicide cases often involve claims of self-defense. Experience investigating and presenting successful self-defense claims at trial (see “Notable Acquittals”). Can include review of injury claims for consistency with evidence, expert review of DNA, crime scene, footprint, and blood evidence.

PROPERTY CRIMES

Theft, Forgery, Identity Theft, Leading Organized Crime. Can include review of surveillance footage (if available), property valuation.


SEX OFFENSES

Sex offense (rape, sexual assault, child sexual assault, pornography, voyeurism) charges often involve the least evidence and can have the biggest impact on the lives of clients and their families. They can also be the most complicated to investigate, litigate pretrial and present to a jury. Extensive experience guiding grateful clients through this difficult process.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

Includes charges of domestic violence Assault, Malicious Mischief, Violation of No Contact Orders, Interfering with Reporting of Domestic Violence. Can include background investigation of complaining witness and thorough review of 911 recordings, body camera footage, injury claims.


VACATION OF CONVICTIONS AND RIGHTS RESTORATION

Convictions often involve loss of civil rights including the right to possess firearms and the right to vote. Eligible clients may have those rights restored and/or the underlying conviction vacation. Determination of eligibility, preparation and filing of vacation and restoration paperwork.
